If it concerned Thailand, authorities here would seek either extradition or joint interrogation of the suspects, Gen Prayut said. The army had also asked Malaysian authorities about the matter, he said. He gave an assurance that the Islamic State was not involved in the unrest in the far South. and was identified as a 27-year-old man from the Malaysian State of Kelantan.
